"First egg in the bush,"
Sea Eagle said with a
twinkling eye.
wrap them in Feathers,
under warm heartbeat
lullabies.
Lady Eagle's got this,
with a good man
perched by her side.
spear a Fish to spare,
spear a Fish to share -
tossed in the talons
of roaring, soaring Gales,
he always returns
to feed her hunger
while she keeps
hope warm.
Eaglet eggs murmur
soft magic, nestled
in Nest and breast.
dreams waiting to
hatch into home
where Bats and Ducks
sometimes visit and
Lorikeets keep the
riff raff away.
